You probably have received my previous email about not getting any result having the Omega HH806AU to work with Artisan. Maybe you can help me with this.
I've tried several things and now i'm looking into getting another device. What should I get in order to be up and running as fast as possible ?
I've been reading about Amprobe or MyPCLab and Phidgets ??? Anything you recommend ?
Or, if i should still be working on my Omega Device, what would you recommend ?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Working with OMEGA hh806AU
2.Installed OMEGA Software and pilot and I get the datas from the probe in their software
3.Installed Artisan for Windows
4.Set the OMEGA HH806 AU as the Meter device
5.Port series modified to match the Device
6.Still get this message "Unable to open Serial port" from Artisan ???
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What to to to get Artisan to read the HH806AU ???
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 / Artisan v.0.7.4 (1248)
Channel as been reset to make sure it's "0"..still not working...any advice ?
We just uploaded another minor update to Artisan v0.7. The changes w.r.t. v0.7.2 are as follows:
- improved curve and RoR smoothing
- improved autoCharge/autoDrop recognizer
- adds oversampling
- adds support for floats to the Modbus write command
- updated Phidget library
Note that this is the last build version of Artisan on GoogleCode as Google does not allow for further uploads from 15.1.2014 on.

I have had great success getting values read from the unit but have failed to be able to write the set point. Could this be due to the float method of communication?
Also, what would it take to be able to have the same type of controls as the Fuji PXG?
